(NASDAQ:ICTS), a leading provider of advanced aviation services, today reported that it has signed a 5 year contract with El-Al airlines for installing the Advanced Passenger Screening software package on all flights arriving to Israel.

The Advanced Passenger Screening (APS) was designed to permit the pre-evaluation of passenger data by providing computer assistance in the Check-In process. This approach accelerates passenger handling at the gate, reduces the risk of delays, and permits flexibility in gate assignment. These improvements in passenger handling have been rapidly transformed into a reduction in aircraft departure delays for the airlines using the system, and improved quality of service for the passengers.

Commenting on this contract, Lior Zouker, President & CEO, said: "This contract with El-Al airlines is especially significant since El-Al has very high security demands. There is an expectation that the APS solution will be applied on at least 10,000 incoming flights per year in the first year with a significant increase during the year 2000.
