Synogogues in Planes?

Just how competitive is the current atmosphere between Airbus and Boeing? AI has offered to outfit 5 planes with synogogues in a serious bid to sell them to EWl Al Airlines . They would be located in lower decks of A340's with space for 12 and the ark holding the Torah would be mounted on a moveable track so it alweays faces Jerusalem. Religious pax on El AL often perform the morning prayer (Shaharit) at the rear of planes causing congestion.

Slightly related, on Saudi Arabian they have an area on their seating plans for 777s (I think) labeled Prayer Room
