ET Y Baggage Allowance
Hi guys,
I'm intending to fly ET in Y on GVA-FCO-ADD-NBO and then NBO-ADD-SIN.
ET's checked baggage allowance on their website confusingly mentions ''2PC/23KG'' using the piece concept for all the above flights -- does this mean one can check 2 bags weighing up to 23kg each? This does seems a little too good to be true...
I've read that ET is notoriously strict in checking weights of checked/carry-on bags and wanted to be sure!

You are correct - Y usually is 2 bags, up to 23kg each. Always best to confirm on your e-ticket, but for those ET-routes, that would seem standard. *G members are eligible for an additional bag.
Latest listing of which stations are running on the weight vs piece concept can be found here: https://www.ethiopianairlines.com/AA...gage-allowance (Surprisingly the baggage info page is actually maintained / updated fairly regularly)
