La Quinta Returns Program

I wanted to share a really good customer service event from La Quinta Returns. I last stayed in a LQ about 5 or 6 years ago. Their terms and conditions require you to stay at least once a year to keep your account in good standing. I lost all my points and I couldn't log in with my old account number. I was going to stay at a LQ last month and tried to open another account. I got a message that my email address was already in the system, so, I called customer service to straighten it out. Not only did they reinstate my account, they gave back all the points I lost 5 years ago! LQ is not my first choice when traveling, but, I'm really impressed enough with them to consider them more often.

It's nice to hear good comments from LaQuinta.

I am an elite member (didn't notice how fast it came!) always happy staying with them, good price-value when I stay in their newer properties.

Love the no-hassle free guest parking, the ALWAYS no hassle WiFi access, no pushy bell boys, the always frees complete, quick and uncomplicated breakfast. The rooms at most of the properties I have stayed are clean and fresh.

The MIA West and North are superb, also the Sawgrass Mills (Sunrise FL) property is nice (the new one, I don't remember the exact name, but it's just beside an older LaQuinta property).

I am a non-complaint individual, but just one time I mentioned (at the Sawgrass property) that the Wireless network was down, just to let them know and fix it (really not to complaint) and the front desk personnel inmediately and kindly offered me to discount 40 dollars on the already LOW 79 USD rate. Never get this kind of service commitment, not even in the best Intercontinentals I have stayed!.

Honestly, I feel better staying in most LaQuinta locations that in much more expensive chains!.
