agree with pegasus8228...they are very strict...I also know they used to comp some CX MPO to their middle tier (Executive)...

from my own experience...after staying at a single hotel for 9 consecutive weeks, usually 4 or 5 days a week...I asked if they could give me Executive (because my nights per stay is definitely above average - with a total of 40+ nights I am close to top tier with other hotel chains already)...they said, sorry, you only have 9 stays, you need one more...

same at the Elite (25 stays) level...you do need 25 stays, not 24 or less...I was even once told - if you stay at a deeply-discounted corporate-negotiated rate...you need 180-day of rack-rate-equivalent of spendings before they would give you Elite, although you might have 25 stays...

I ended up having 100+ nights with 25 stays before I finally got Elite...but, the benefits afterwards are truly amazing...suite upgrade all the time...much better than my experience as SPG Platinum...

Tedhl,

I do agree 100% on Golden Circle's benefits which are given all the time even before I have checkin - suite upgrade, escort to your suite, and lots of goodies. That is why I rather concentrate on Golden Circle rather than SPG Plat and HHonors Gold which one has to argue to receive benefits.

So, anyone is going to vote Golden Circle as the Freddie's best hotel program .... I did ...
