Unhappy Biz awards with IB Plus

Hello,

I am trying to book an award in Biz class from Europe to Mexico, but I have tried many different dates in November, and it never shows availability for the intercontinental segments.
Anybody else has had the same experience?
Is there any award tool to see availability on IB and/or other OW carriers?
Phoning IB Plus helpdesk might be easier? I tried in the past but the number used to be always busy.

Thanks for your help.

As far as I know, there's no tool like ANA. You'll need to call them, but I know that award availability is pretty limited unless you're a Plat with them.

You can check award availability on most (all?) OW partners using the Qantas FF portal. It is free to join Qantas's FF scheme, and you don't need any miles on the account to check availablity online.

Thanks very much for all replies.

I will try calling and if it is difficult to get in contact, I will follow this Qantas route.

Fantastic award tool from Qantas ^. Thanks.
You can check award availability to dozens of destinations, including small airports in Argentina, but unfortunately not to Mexico

Try to call IB plus, they will put you on waitlist and it would be confirmed in a couple of days, that is the best solution.

Thanks Txolo.

I have seen you are IB+ platinum, do you think the waitlist will clear for a simple blue level?

Yes, I think so... B+ availability is quite zeroed out, as on many flights seem that don't have... but B+ is not filled with paid passengers, so try to get the wait list on IB Plus call centre and then "space control department" will take care of it... (unless you need to fly on Christmas time or easter, that will be difficult). I think that you will be lucky.
