China Airlines Auckland Lounge Access

In January I have a flight from AKL to TPE on CI. By that time I should be Flying Blue Gold (STE+). According to SkyTeam and CI website China Airlines gives lounge access to the Strata Lounge at AKL, however is this just for business class or CI Elites? I have never had Elite Plus before so I am completely lost when it comes to lounge access policy.

Thank you in advance!

Previously I would have said yes but considering Delta uses the clause refusing access to the heathrow airport Lounges In Terminal 3 for skyteam elite plus (Delta medalion do get access) due to it being a 3rd party lounge.

So CI may do the same in AKL which is a 3rd party lounge. Otherwise just ring them up.

However I believe DL's stinginess re: access to 3rd party business lounges only applies when traveling on DL metal.

Elite+ will receive lounge access on CI flights even if it's operated by 3rd party lounges. I have had access in CAN via DL in the past.

You can always query CI if you have doubts.
