Avis forum needs a moderator
(tried to post this in ORP but it didn't work...and TalkBoard might be a better place for this anyway)
Forgive me for not knowing the procedure for this, but just in the course of a week, the Avis forum has seen both a personal attack (in the "AWD# K250544..." thread, directed at me but later deleted by the other poster) and now some person spamming another AWD# and a free iPod link in multiple threads.
Although the Avis forum only receives a few posts per day, I feel it would be better off with a designated moderator. I'd be more than willing to act as that moderator...but if there is another FTer who is better qualified, he or she should take the position, of course.
Your thoughts?

wahooflyer, I realize that this situation can be very frustrating -- even more so right now when there are no "senior moderators" who can step in, but TalkBoard does not have any authority in the question of moderation.
I suggest that you write to [email protected] .
I'm sorry that I can't be more help than that.

wahooflyer, be sure to use "report posts" for any inappropriate posts. The PM goes to Randy's IT team in the absence of senior moderators or a forum moderator. Be sure to give a clear, succinct explanation as to why the post is inappropriate. Randy's IT team has been quite responsive when I have done so.

Sorry to ask this question in an unrelated thread, but...
Why is ORP closed to new threads? It's been that way for me for the past couple of weeks.
