Just out of curiosity did there seem to be less flame wars on your fora while the reputation feature was active?

FWIW, it's been about the same. I think we've had somewhat less "reported posts" in the last few weeks. Can't extrapolate if it has to do with Reputation or not, of if the weather is improving...

Or do you mean the wars are less intense in some fashion?

Is it not a common practice to move threads that are posted in the wrong forum ?
Aren't the first thread about a topic those where the discussion takes place ?
Any changes in policies I should know ?

I hadn't really thought about fewer in number or lesser in intensity. Just curious if it appeared that the reputation feature had any influence.
It had felt to me like folks were being nicer, but I only read a small percentage of FT.

And reputation is a dead horse that still keeps getting beaten in here.
That is why we move some threads, and others are closed.

For sure am not a moderator but my observation by giving out good/bad reps was there was not any more discernable change in posting by the receivers than before.
I would say that much like police forces who notice a rise in crimes during a full moon the full moon has more effect here at FT on the attitude of posters than the reputation feature did.
But that is my opinion of seeing probably a smaller part of FT than you and we all know that refs can not see. But I will tell you that there are always more fouls in games during the full moon.
