Just read an entire 3 page (Love that bolding) thread that was dated 11/25/2003.

Saw the term "proto-fascist" used twice, neither time in a personal attack.

But, since as usual (Love that bolding) no link was provided, I can only guess that I have read the correct thread.

I also read some other threads when searching for "fascist". Pretty amazing who used it the most.

The OMNI Moderators are doing a wonderful job (Love that bolding).

But, that's only the opinion of MANY (Love that bolding) members.

I'm watching this thread with awe and shock. The folks who got their timeouts from OMNI deserved them, period. These individuals have a history of attempting to bait others into unconstructive dialogue. I think that the OMNI moderators did a fine job of attempting to keep the peace there despite the vigilante posters, some of whom have made past declarations off the FT forums that their intent is to stir the pot.

I think there are a couple other folks who have been engaging in this baiting for unconstructive dialogue method of discourse not just on OMNI, but across FT who deserve a little time away from the community.

Just my two cents. Shameful.

I would really like to learn something from this thread, so could someone explain to me how you create bolding of words in your posts please?

But maybe, techgirl, it's just all in your head? Maybe you are just imagining it? Maybe you and me and the (at least) five other people I can recall saying the same thing over and over and over, both here and to me directly, are all wrong, being petty, don't know what we are talking about?

All of us except for the bigots support the efforts of the OMNI moderators to clean up the board. Unfortunately, there are still those posting who think attacking and hating pass for intelligent discourse. Bigotry has no place on FlyerTalk!

I won't bother to say "Welcome to FT" to our new troll "ftomnibox" because I wouldn't want to give the mistaken impression that what you are doing is at all acceptable or welcome.

Amen to that. OMNI Is a better place since the registration rule went into effect.

I'm sure that multiple handle holders like the one above would be merrily posting away, selfishly pushing their disruptive agenda...

As somebody who has been on the receiving end of hateful invective, techgirl, I would think you would like to take a stand against the people whose "contributions" to FT are little more than prejduice and bigotry.

Again, bigotry of the type we've recently seen infesting OMNI is completely against the TOS and is not acceptable in a civilized community. I say bravo to the moderators.
