As to your question, the more accurate version of the text would have been:

"In other news, after Punki had opened a few threads complaining about threads getting moved or closed in the past, this weekend she opened one where she was critical of a moderator, who, in Punki's opinion, inappropriately talked behind her back.

When this thread got moved or closed, Punki opened a new thread to complain that that thread got moved."

Sorry, my previous version was in fact not 100 % correct.

The complaint was about comparing an FTer's debating technique to that of H****r. Other German historical figures are fine; e.g.,: My view is that the response to the FT hacker or hackers needs to be in the style of Bismarck and not of von Papen.

Did it ever occur to you that my problem may be with people who seek to disrupt FT? Constant whining, blubbering and crying about the moderation here is VERY disruptive.

I will continue to stand against this SMALL subset of FT.

You yourself noticed the common theme, so why single out CB4 and myself?

What makes the behaviour of one of this SMALL subset even more galling is that they are a moderator on another Web Site and have engaged in FAR worse activity than they are whining about here.

The concept of people's thinking being manipulated and or twisted, by lies, rumors and emotions is one that interests me and is obviously at work here on FT. From now on, however, I will attribute the quote regarding this concept to Michael Moore, who also used it in reference to our President.

Your summary of this weekend's events was very clear, concise and accurate except for this one issue where it appears some blind spot exists. Even your second shot at an explanation was still inaccurate.

The truth:

1. It would appear that you are referring to this thread. The thread does not refer to anything that the moderator did behind my back, but instead refers to a very clear and public false accusation that she made regarding my very polite private e-mails to her.

2. The thread was not moved or closed.

3. I did not, therefore, open any thread regarding its being moved or closed.

I am certain that you believed that your version was correct, and am very curious as to what caused your misunderstanding as you are usually quite clear in your thinking. Interesting.

When a critic of the FT Moderators has in the past been guilty of FAR worse, then it is pertinent to the discussion here.

It is not a grudge, as others would have you believe. (Did someone mention that if you tell a lie enough times it becomes truth?)

Randy VERY graciously gave me a second chance here on FT. I cannot and will not stand idly by and watch people with an agenda try to harm what he has given us.

What if he told you to leave that up to him? It seems to me that he is friendly enough with Punki to put her in the FAQ and he has expressly stated that ozstamps is on good terms with him.

(I would understand that that would not change anything about the fact that they still have to observe the same standards as everyone in order not to disrupt the "peace on Flyertalk" http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif.)

However, if some people then, after Randy's clear statements, still follows one or two of these posters around to criticize everything they say and/or make bitter remarks about something that happened in the past, who is breaking the peace and harming what Randy has given us then?

As long as I do not violate the TOS, then I expect to be treatd the same as any other member of FT. Last time I checked, giving a rebuttal is not a violation of the TOS. If Randy changes the TOS to disallow rebuttals, then I would be forced to "Bite my Keyboard" whenever an attack is made on the Moderators or FT.

Also, I take exception to the "Follow Around" comment. I frequent no more than 10 forums here on FT. There are forums that I refuse to read since they are overun with self-important loudmouths.

But, if someone comes into one of the forums that I do frequent and posts an attack on the moderators or FT, then they SHOULD (Love that bolding) expect rebuttal.

That is not even remotely funny - regardless of how many emoticons you put there.
