Pretty concise summary, Attorney28, except for this inaccurate statement:

In truth, I opened exactly three threads this weekend:

1. The first was this thread where I outed Squeakr for misrepresenting the nature of some private e-mails I had sent her regarding her moderation efforts.

2. The second was this thread sharing my experiences with my compromised FT accounts.

3. The third was this thread where I asked why the very bitter moderator gossip session regarding me, and only the one regarding me, had been removed. That seemed very odd to me, but made sense when the other threads containing moderator sessions regarding other members were also removed.

I am seriously interested, Attorney28, what were you thinking when you added that sentence to your summary?

Even with you being German yourself, I think that is a disgustingly inappropriate thing to say. If you had any sense you would turn off your computer for a few days-- you have NO idea how you are appearing right now to folks who don't know you (and I don't but have always had a very favorable impression of you.) I think if you knew what this looked like to an unbiased outsider, you'd throw your computer out the window and rip your phone-jack out of the wall.

Do yourself a favor-- take a BREAK.

So, what exactly would my agenda be from the posts you have seen from me? Can't tell? That's because I don't have one. Well, with your posts I have seen (and I will admit that I have mainly seen your posts in this forum) it sure seems like you do have one.

The owner has already made it clear that he does not want to remove the posters you seem to hate so much. If you continue your vendetta after that, you are the one breaking the peace.

I dated a German girl for about a year (2003) and she always told me that they are not supposed to say things like even remotely like that-- never in Germany do you hear that kind of stuff in public. I made some WWII jokes initially and they were NOT well received (unless they were at the expense of the French.) I spent a lot of time in Berlin and jocular, flip references to Hitler are really, really, really offensive to most Germans (yes, there are obvious-- and ugly-- exceptions.)

The more I read Ozstamps quoted section the funnier-- and truer-- it is.

Ok, Attorney28, since it is obviously emotionally stressful for you, I promise that I shall never again mention any German historical figures on FT.

I did not, BTW, use the same password for FT and my e-mail. As a matter of fact I am now using randomly generated passwords and have just been advised by MSN that even as I write, someone is trying to hack through my new passwords.
