Randy has NOT chosen to ignore the current name calling and bad behavior that is currently being exhibited on the boards. He is infact very ill in a Singapore hotel under a doctor's care. As soon as he is given an ok to travel back to the States, he will be returning directly to Colorado and not completing his travel as planned.
Thank you to everyone who has attempted to create some level of decorum in controlling some of the mud that is being thrown. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. Randy will have comments for the board and or emails sent directly to those whose hands are the dirtiest upon his healthy return.

MilesChick, thanks for the update on Randy. The adults on this board (and a number of under-18ers who are honorary adults for this purpose) wish Randy well and are delighted to do what it takes to eliminate the need for refereeing. We, too, want him to fly far, often, and upgraded.

Thanks MilesChick, and I regret that I needed to ask for the first time for a thread to be locked down. The part-time Flyertalker largely responsible for that lock-down chose not to edit his remarks there, and is still piously passing judgment on others right here it seems.
Randy had a really frantic week or two (or three) with the Freddies I can bet, and then to fly 20+ hours to Australia, then to Asia, then Europe and the USA would take the wind out of anyone sails. I heard it looks like food poisoning and that he is in quarantine, so sounds very serious - hope it settles down real soon.

Thanks for the update, Karen! While I naturally speak for no one other than myself, on behalf of all of us at FT who very much agree, and I suspect that is many, I apologize for the ongoing "shenanigans" and wish Randy well- a speedy and complete recovery!

Um, Mileschick, I hate to bring this up, but it seems that my Hot Dog cart got locked in with that other thread. Any chance I could get it back? It looks like I might need it in other places.
