eDreams and Transavia EU261

Initial flight booked on Edreams (5 pax) €563
Go MRS - RAK Ryanair JAN 24 6:00 FR5152 All OK
Return RAK - MRS Transavia JAN 27 16:10 TO3195

JANUARY 27 at 08:00 unable to register online.
We call Transavia who informs us that in July they would have notified us by email of the change
schedule (flight brought forward to 7:00 a.m.).
We have not received anything and on Edreams the flight is still scheduled for 4:10 p.m.
We call Edreams and they are also not aware of this schedule change.
We are forced to return to our own expense for a night in a hotel in Marrakech + new return ticket
(1023 + €2760 or €3783) No cheaper hotel because Marrakech Marathon
-----
Edreams reimbursed us the 563€ but as for the 3783€ Edreams and Transavia returned the
ball.
Edreams we ask for proof that Transavia sent an email to notify us.
Transavia refuses because their system does not allow them to find this email and provide it to us.

So whose fault is it? Thanks much for your help!

Yeah, hopefully now you understand the big disadvantages of booking flights via OTA like eDreams etc. If you had booked directly with Transavia most likely you would have been notified about the schedule change.
Most likely eDreams and Transavia will keep pointing at each other. Good luck!

Besides, you didn't check the flight on the website of Transavia or the airport the day before or on the day of departure? (to check for delay, cancellations etc). If you had done that it would have been clear that the flight had been retimed. Booking with a third party and not checking for any last minute updates with the airline, is asking for troubles/your own fault IMO.

Clear case, under EU261 the airline has to proof to you that they informed you of a schedule change.
There are enough court ruling that said, even if the airline does not have the pax email address, its still their obligation to inform the passenger directly.
