Phantom fares
When searching on Kayak (or Bing Travel) for SEA-PBI one-way 6/21/2010 in First Class, I keep seeing a Delta $470 fare for their 11:45am flight via ATL. It's been there all day, but whenever I try to book it, it doesn't exist.
Could this mean that it *will* be available some time soon? How does this glitch happen?

I see this fare on ExpertFlyer (which is an M-up Fare) - $358 OW - I don't recall if non-elites are upgraded on M-up fares as it's been a while since I've booked a DL ticket.

On DL.com, they have SEA-ATL-PBI for $470 all-in (A-class fare) on 6/21 - SEA-ATL is an AS-codeshare though. They also have SEA-DTW-PBI for the same price on DL metal. Search by First Class & OW.

I called...it's some sort of ghost fare...but mileage upgrades were available, so I used them. There were only 3 seats available for mileage upgrade, and SEA-ATL is on a 332! So, they'll get BE...I'm jealous. I guess it's a repositioning flight NRT-SEA-ATL (my guess...only operates on Mondays).
