What class are you looking at purchasing? Jumping on a South African Airways flight across to JNB and purchasing your OWE originating in JNB will save you about $US900 in economy and $3000 in business and first compared to the prices ex Brasil. Given a GRU-JNB return costs around $1000, if you are flying economy you don't save but if Business or First its worth looking at.

It would also allow you to split your RTW into 2 distinct trips if that interested you eg GRU-JNB-Asia-Australia/NZ-SAm-GRU and GRU-Europe-JNB-GRU

Pricing seems strange; you have a LONE5.

ex GRU has a base cost of USD3900.

ex USA has a base cost of USD5100.

Are you sure you were booking a xONEx?

Until you fly the first segment, the booking agency must make any changes. After that, any oneworld entity can.

Just a dumb question: if I buy the ticket with, lets say, LAN, and want to change the date of one flight, that must be done with LAN or I could use another airline, like AA?
The pricing you quote is very strange. It doesn't match the usual pricing we have seen. Is it possible for you to tell us exactly where you are flying and what ticket you want to buy? Maybe you are flying around the world but you are not on a OW Explorer fare?

AA will not change your flights etc. if the ticket has been issued by LA and it is not an AA flight.

I'm flying to:
GRU-LIM-SCL-AKL-SYD-JKT-SIN-BKK-HKG-JNB-DUR-CPT-LON-MAD-RAK-MAD-GRU
The JKT-SIN I will do as land segment.

The ticket i wan to buy is a *LONE5*.

Good to know that AA would not change flights if i don't buy the ticket with then.

Please advise the cost of your ticket as the prices you have quoted do not match current base fares.
