For which side? Oneworld or Jet?

Ahh man, I liked SN when I flew on them earlier this year. BRU is a great airport and the the free chocolate was a nice touch.

I think there would be a lot of concerns over AR's longevity given its checkered past.
Nope, JK (Spanair) is owned by SK (Scandanavian).

SK's been trying to sell JK for sometime now but nobody seems to be willing to pony the money up.

Flightglobal Article

Some interesting analysis here from FlightGlobal on alliance expansion and the development of antitrust immunised groupings:

http://www.flightglobal.com/articles...go-change.html

They are still predicting MU will join oneworld and also highlight the ongoing negotiations with TAM.

But isn't MU going to be gobbled up by either Air China or Singapore Air? I don't think anyone cares about a possible monopoly situation for Star in China as long as officials get paid.

Grrr, it seems that there will never be an option to get OW status relevant miles for China - Korea flights.
