How long is your connection? If it is long enough then I would visit the JL F lounge (easily the best OW lounge at NRT), and transfer terminals closer to departure (allow plenty of time for the airside transfer bus). Once you have transferred I think the only lounge available to you is BA.
Note your QF flight is likely to use a gate in the satellite terminal. The JL F lounge is in the main terminal - a short train ride away. Just follow the signs for connections.

Not sure I am in 100% agreement. Perhaps it is my lack of Japanese food experience but I did find the food selection a little weak.
However the showers and massage were great
One weird thing was that the whole lounge seemed to be mobile phone free so I could not even make a quick call.

I meant that there were little signs with mobiles on with them crossed out indicating that one should not use a mobile. I did sneak skype though through my bluetooth just to confirm to mrssimongr I was on the flight.

But, there must be mobile phone permitted area.
At least, there are public pay phone booths.
By the way, JL's lounges have smoking rooms.
Ohter oneworld lounges, CX, AA, and BA lounges are non-somoking.

Normally lounge usage is restricted to the terminal of departure at NRT -- so the ONLY choice is to use the BA lounge. Which no longer exists (unless it has recently been re-opened). BA uses the NW lounge on a contract basis -- so you must be flying BA F or J to access that fine NW lounge. You might want to check further that lounge access is possible in T2 (the arriving terminal), and what arrangements BA has at the time of your travel in T1. I am 99% sure that you will have zero lounge access at NRT based on being WP. Maybe you can arrange with QF for some lounge access, in advance, as I think it will need some special arrangement. Connecting in HKG would have been so much easier -- and you would have had Wing/Pier F lounge access without any fuss; but NRT does not work like that!!!! Overall a rather unfortunate choice of routing, I hope the fare was cheap enough to compensate for it.

I forgot no BA own lounge at T1.

I seem to recall that NRT you could clear transfer security at the arrival terminal and then take the airside transfer bus to your departure terminal. Thus have access to the lounges in both terminals (subject to their entry rules of course). AFAIK entry is based on same departing OW flight, status &/or class of travel, but NOT terminal of departing flight.

That doesn't mean anything. My QF bookings show lounge for HKG to be the Qantas Club, but I can also use CX's The Wing or The Pier, similarly for NRT Qantas Club but I can also use the various JL, AA or CX lounges.

When I connected in NRT transferring from QF to BA, I was met by a BA representative and handed an information sheet. The following is a quote from it (slight errors are as in the original) :
This was in June 2007, so unless they have changed the rules you should get access to the Northwest lounge.
British Airways offers invitations to following facilities for passengers in transit from Qantas Airways, as a part of Oneworld Alliances agreement.
Northwest WorldClubs lounge is available for
First and Club World passengers,
British Airways Premier, Gold, Silver members,
Oneworld Emerald and Sapphire members,
and Qantas Club card holder.
Please present your membership card, Boarding pass or Ticket at Reception desk.

IIRC NW is in the same terminal as BA, and BA has their own lounge.
