TPE agent

Since it seems TPE seems about the cheapest in the Asia/SWP region for RTW and other OW fares, can anyone recommend an agent they have successfully used in TPE to ticket such tickets.

Also would love to hear how the various OW airline ticketing offices in TPE have performed in this regard if anyone has used them.

CX TPE has performed well for me in the past - all organised over the phone and by fax (in Chinese by my secrtary thoiugh - not sure if being in English makes a difference), and picked up on a turnround at TPE.

the local agaent
www.101vision.com has very clear detail and information about around world fare. they are very helpful for RWF. They have mandarin webpages only. Find someone who can help u. They also get skype service. which u can talk with them.

Thanks, I just checked there. The prices seem to be 3% higher than the ones published on the OW site.

the agent is helpful and more professional but indeed their price is a bit costly than some net agent such as www.zuji.com.tw or www.startravel.com.tw

but www.101vision.com will give a bit discount if u ask

I'd like to report that I've just had an excellent experience ticketing a DCIR26 through the CX TPE office.

I faxed them the itinerary (number on CX website) and had a response back via email the next day with the itinerary and record locater. Pricing was given the following day. Faxed them my credit card and they ticketed same day (e-ticket). Received confirmation via email. English communication was excellent.
