Are Qantas rules very different?

Ive gotten my LONE5 itinerary verified by American, but now my TA in AKL is having trouble booking it because I'm making use of the rule allowing backtracking through Europe from DAR w/o a stopover. Does this rule apply for Qantas bookings as well or am I out of luck? Does anyone have access to the latest Qantas rules?

Thanks for any help you can give....

I am not aware that DAR is on the list of eligible Europe-double-entry origin/destinations. Kenya is, but I don't think Tanzania is.
Code:
132N . * 2 PERMITTED IN EUROPE WHEN 1 IS A TRANSIT
133N . WITHOUT STOPOVER BETWEEN GHANA/NIGERIA/KENYA
134N . AND
135N . ANOTHER CONTINENT.

Is this quoted from Quantas' rules?

Where did you quote this rule from? I found the same rule that also included Tanzania in the beginning of this thread. But if this is a Qantas rule, then I'm not as screwed as I thought I was, because I could fly into and then back from Kenya.

More Details

Here is the rule as I found it in this thread (updated in early July)... I'm hoping the current Qantas rules match.

128N . * 2 PERMITTED IN EUROPE WHEN 1 IS A TRANSIT
129N . WITHOUT STOPOVER BETWEEN
130N . GHANA/NIGERIA/KENYA/UGANDA/TANZANIA AND
131N . ANOTHER
132N . CONTINENT.

You need to persuade the Qantas office to go and check for the latest reissue of the rules. Uganda and Tanzania were only very recently added to the exception list.

Unfortunately, the online version here: http://www.hardlink.com/~markdu/OWFi...eExplorer.html is out of date.
But CX's version here: http://www.christen.demon.co.uk/CXRule/ (in Excel format, updated on 3 July) shows the latest version.

(Note that there have been very minor changes in the list of OW restricted flights since then - I will find time to upload the new CX versions in the next few days...)

I may have missed someone else picking a typo, but section Q says:
Within Australia only one Nonstop/Single plane service flight is permitted between the following points .....
MEL/SYD - BNE

I presume BNE should actually be BME (which would make more sense)?

Yes - that must be a typo. It does indeed mean BME.

Current version now uploaded... I haven't dug into the flight numbers to see if there is anything significant there.

Hate to sound greedy......but how about price categories on LONE3/4? These fares are cheaper than booking a AKL-JFK in J most ofthe time.......an Asia leg can be worked in on many of my trips........same as Europe..........

Or can you provide a link where Expert Flyer has this info?

Thanks...

EDIT
Sorry....didn't realize that Expert Flyer is not another user on the forum and refers to a site (still a newbie!).......I would still like to get this information if it is no bother.....Thanks

Be aware, the prices are about 6 months old and some changes have occurred. Having posted that, they do give a reasonable idea of the costs and the Excel Spreadsheet itself is excellent in comparing.
