In the UK - avoiding BA reissue fee?
Is there any way to avoid the extra 25pound reissue fee that BA charges to print tickets from the BA shop?
Right now my booking 'online' does not match my paper ticket, so I need it to be reprinted and pay the oneworld change costs. BUt I'd like to avoid the extra 25pound fee if possible.

Your paper ticket only needs to match your reservation if the paper ticket is endorsed "Valid Flt/Date Shown". If it doesn't say that then you can just turn up for the flight on which you have the reservation and present the coupon, assuming that the booking class and all other details remain the same.

Where would I find it saying "valid flt/date shown"? I see it says VALID AA/AY/BY/CX/EI/IB/LA/LP/QF ONLY (i.e. the airlines).
But both Qantas and BA totld me that I need a ticket reissue because my flights have changed. Obviously as my destinations have changed I would have to have my taxes recalculated right?
THanks

If the routing has changed you have no choice, it must be reissued. This can be done by AA at LHR and at MAN or by CX at LHR. QF can also do it at LHR but charges a fee similar to BA. If you cannot get to either of these airports and don't want to mail in your ticket then you have no choice but to use BA and pay their "convenience fee".

Oh sorry - I misunderstood. I thought you meant that you had changed your reservation on the same route to a different day. Obviously if start and end points on the next coupon on the ticket doesn't match the next flight you want to take then you have to get the ticket reissued. If BA or QF or AY does it there will be a fee for doing any work in addition to the change fee; no-one has found a way round this. If CX or AA does it you pay only the change fee.
