RTW originating from BKK

BKK-HKG-JFK-LHR-MXP-FCO-HKG-BKK

Is the above itinerary okay? I'm mainly concerned about the Italian flights.

Also: I am traveling with two people with no status, and the RTW is in Business Class (but the CX segments are going to be upgraded to First with miles). Do you think we can all go into the First Class lounge?

Thanks.

Which OneWorld airline do you think flies MXP-FCO? I think you'll have to do that on a separate ticket.

As a OW Emerald you can enter the F lounge with one guest when flying OW. You can take 2 guest into CX lounges (but you'll be in F then anyway).

So essentially at JFK and LHR you are dependent on the goodwill of the lounge dragon. And with BA lounge dragons goodwill is in notoriously short supply.

Apologies but it's not very clear what you are actually asking.

The above itin is a value Oneworld explorer ticket (DONE3). Pretty slim use of one but valid.

I wondered about that but it came up as one of the routes from MXP on the OWE Planner [http://jph.bytestacker.com/award.htm]. Just checked with the oneworld xONEx route planer and it doesn't show. Hmm.

If you had to ticket it seperately you might consider the train. Or just ticket BKK-HKG-JFK-LHR-MXP-BCN-FCO-HKG-BKK instead.

1) We're doing MXP-FCO by train.

2) Great, BA lounge dragons suck.

If you just wanted to get from Milan to Rome without stopping anywhere in between [which would sort of be a shame, considering what's there], it looks like you could take an IB or BA connection through MAD or LHR or even BCN. If you think about that be sure also to check flights from Linate, which is way closer to Milan than is Malpensa.

So BKK-HKG-JFK-LHR-MXP//FCO-HKG-BKK.

Yes that's fine as an itinerary for a DONE3. Seems such a shame only to use 6 segments out of the 17 possible though.

While your question implies very much a business orientation at least consider JFK-LAX-LHR in place of the JFK-LHR.

Perhaps as an excuse to visit Walt Disney's legacy in Anaheim? (And to add a few miles for future travel and status).

Alternatively JFK-SJU-MAD-MXP or JFK-MIA-BGI-LHR-MXP if Carribean climes are of greater interest in a mild diversion.......

Think creatively - especially when a jet lag day (or two) is needed somewhere. You don't mention that.........

Happy wandering
