what is audeli's relationship to iberia?

what is audeli's relationship to iberia?
While making a booking with AA for a flight, JFK-BCN, I selected the 6pm departure which stops at MAD enroute to BCN. The agent said it was operated by audeli. Huh? So, I went to the iberia.com site and it seems on 1 or 2 days of the week, the flight has flight crew of audeli, but a cabin crew of iberia. The other 5 days the flight lists both type of crews as iberia. What does this really mean? Is it just a lease of pilots for some flights?
