Thanks, Viajero. I was just re-reading the FAQ and was coming back to say "nevermind, I get it now." :)

Possible problem as noted in this post by Serfty
Milage Monkey indicates SYD-JFK may not have First class cabin; I know for a fact that QF107 (indeed AA7365) indeed does. |
Downtime this weekend...a note from the hosting company
This weekend we will be performing server maintenance on the server. We are going to include the server in our web hosting cluster. The procedure will take about 2 hours, which means that your web sites will be offline and you will not be able to access the control panel for not more than 2 hours. Because this procedure needs to be coordinated with the technicians at the data center, we cannot be sure when exactly the maintenance will begin, but we are sure that will not take more than 2 hours |

more enhancements
From Gardyloo's post 20 on another thread "Some unpleasant unforeseen rule changes today - Intra-South America O/D O/J prohibited, and no transit through origin point."
The source of Gardyloo's information unknown at this time (EF?). Some discussion on this enhancement on AFF Also discussion about LAN affiliates on this thread. No real change Unfortunately look like more programming needed by SLF when all this is 100% confirmed :( |

I've created a new beta version; visiting point-of-origin now terminates itinerary, and the South America & DAC-BKK/SIN exceptions have been removed. Please feel free to test it to make sure it is working as expected. Below are some tests which 0.95014 accepts as valid but which 0.95015 fails. Please report any issues in this thread. LGW-MAN-LHR-LAX-HKG-LHR: 0.95014 0.95015 DAC-LHR-JFK-HKG-SIN: 0.95014 0.95015 |
New feature: embedded google maps
The beta version now has google maps embedded - once you've submitted an itinerary in the OWE planner, or point-point sections, you'll see that the airport codes in the results are clickable links. Choose one of these, and a map of that airport will be shown in the main window. Additionally for cities with multiple airports, each of them will be shown with markers, along with the "centre" of the city.
I'd like to make the markers clickable - what I need is a web site which will let me send it the 3-letter airport code as part of a URL. Any suggestions? |
0.95015 is now the "current" version
....no feedback (either positive or negative ), so anyway I've moved 0.95015 to current :).
Is the google map thing helpful to anyone? I have had great fun playing with it to see where the airports are in relation to cities I'm not familiar with. Also, if you spot any errors (e.g. the map is NOT located on the advertised airport), please let me know! |
It worked fine for Moi ... :D
Thanks for your efforts ^ |
Thanks for all your hard work on this very useful tool.
Because land segments between "co-terminals" in one city now count as a segment, is there a way to eliminate use of co-terminal codes like BUE, LON, NYC? I had validated a 20 segment itinerary using USH-BUE-MAD, which was initially accepted by AA RTW office, but was subsequently rejected when Dublin reviewed it. Happy Travels. |
