Adding segments to my DONE3
Please pardon the stupid question.
I have an ex-TPE DONE3. I've already flown TPE-HKG-LHR-CDG-DFW-SFO, and its next segments are SFO-HKG-TPE (January).
For the re-issue fee, could I add in several ex-SFO intra-U.S. roundtrips? For example, could I add in an SFO-JFK-SFO and/or SFO-ORD-SFO on the ticket? It's within the same region (U.S.) and would so long as I only transit SFO three or fewer times, I can just keep adding segments, right?
Am I missing something? Thanks!

However, original rule is applied.
So, you can not add SFO-JFK-SFO, because of only one transcontinental flight is allowed within North America.
Addtional SFO-ORD-SFO is fine.
SFO-JFK-ORD-SFO is also valid addtional routing.
There is no restrction about stopover at SFO, so you can add
SFO-ORD-SFO-LAX-SFO etc.
You can add 5 more North American segments, because you used only one segment (DFW-SFO) out of 6 free segments within N.A.

In addition to the free segments (6 in NA), you can also purchase 2 additional segments as long as you are below the 20 segment total limit -- and you are (this is often good value as these are fully flexible tickets, with free date changes). Remember than NA includes the Caribbean and Latin America (everything north of Panama), so you could fly JFK-AUA or LAX-SJO, etc. The primary limitation is Hawaii is excluded and only 1 transcon non-stop flight.
