Unless you're taking the first early morning flight to CUZ, and then it could be earlier than the schedule says... No worries, Fujimori says he's coming back to rescue the country... though the extradition has been changed again to try to bring him back from Japan willy-nilly. I love Per, but the buereaucracy and corruption

LP 160 AQP-LIM 14 Oct 2004 Scheduled for 8:20pm. Called the airport and was told that it was leaving at 9:40. Called LanChile and was told that it was leaving at 11:40. Showed up at AQP around 8:00 and was told that the flight was canceled. They had the whole LP area roped off.
I kicked and screamed for a while, got a supervisor, explained that I had to be at a wedding in LIM the next day and ended up getting on the "canceled" flight. It seems that LP was into telling people that the flight was canceled when it actually wasn't. The flight left around 10:30....approx. It was completely full and people had handwritten BP's. There were lots of seating problems, but we eventually took off.
I was thankful that that was the last leg of my LIM-CUZ-AQP-LIM trip on LP.
Up to that point, I had a good impression of LP, although the seats are like sitting on plywood....aesthetically pleasing, but very uncomfortable. LP seems to pay no attention or have no idea that OW elite status exists.
