Three continent OWE

Hi all. I'm thinking of going to New York from Hong Kong, and then going to London Heathrow from New York, and then from London Heathrow back to Hong Kong. Does this count as a three continent OWE?

Yes, it counts as a three continent OWE (xONE3), even if you only transit New York or London.

Yes

While it counts as a three continent OWE, you are only using 3 of the allowable 20 segments on that ticket (but, that may be what you intended) .

Which class?

Hi, depending on which class you are travelling it may be substantially cheaper to buy your ticket elsewhere in Asia. For economy, about US 550, for business about US$1200 and similar for First.

If you need any more information, start with

and then come back with some more questions.

Happy landings

Skye, I think CX has a special (or at least it did once) with BA that is not considered part of the Oneworld RTW fares, and is available only from HKG. But I have no details of this. If you're in HK, check with your local agent.

Thanks for the information, spotwelder. It's much appreciated.

Hm, I'll ring them up. Thanks!

I wonder how much First costs though.
