Most indirect routing
What is the most indirect routing you have taken?
From what I have heard they charge you from point of begining and ending point. In otherwords stop overs on connections do not count.
What is the most indirect routing that you have taken?
What is the most indirect rounting they will allow?

I could not get a seat heading east out of Australia the week after the Sydney olympics. So the only route available to me to RDU was BNE-SYD-FRA-LGW-RDU. Took me 44 hours, involved 7 consecutive airline meals and very little sleep.
This was a paid fare and ended up cheapest as a OneWorld Explorer MONE4 (back when they were booked in M). But the routing was not selected for any reason other than availability on the day I needed to travel.

Most indirect routing? Well in about 10 days time I'm going to Malaga for a friend's wedding... HKG-SFO-ORD-ANC-DFW-LAX-MIA-JFK-LHR-DXB-LHR-Malaga... Obviously that's as part of an AONE, so maybe that doesn't count for your poll...

I will shortly be doing LHR-CAI-LHR-ORD-ANC-ORD-LAX-JFK-PHX-JFK-HKG without any breaks of more than a few hours primarily to keep my Diamond card this year. That's about 56 hours for something that could be done LHR-HKG in 12 or so.

I flew HKG-NRT-HKG-LHR-ACC-LHR-DXB over 3 days not too long ago.
Most indirect (domestic) mileage run was probably AUS-DFW-STL-TPA-ORD-PDX-DFW-AUS or AUS-ORD-PVD-ORD-SJC-ORD-PVD-AUS
