I don't know if they're price-competitive but Emeco is certainly willing to ticket you on most any significant carrier, and they got a whole lot of positive feedback here, helping a lot of folks ticket OWE's at the last minute. Drop them an email.

Yeh, they issued a round trip ticket for me just fine. It takes a bit of extra time because all their tickets are hand written but they are obviously pretty efficient at it. As far as travel agencies, they are a dime a dozen there. Seems every corner in the downtown area has a travel agency/tour hawking shop set up. I did have to go to the Iberia city ticket office to cancel a reservation and they had a ticket advertised on the window at 15000 egp or about $250. I assume it's round trip but I am sure they have one way fares as well.

I am not at home right now so I dont have the exact information of the agency but the branch I used was around the corner from the Egyptian Museum on 2 Tala'at Harb. When I get home I will see if the ticket jacket has the email information of that particular branch.

The advantage of Emeco (imo at least) is that they're a known quantity, respectable enough to be American's agent in Egypt, and will Fedex your ticket, albeit for USD25 if it's a cheap ticket. A downside is that in some cases they may want you to wire payment, if you want the ticket ahead of time - they certainly took C/C's for OWE's, but in asking about ordinary bookings, wire transfer was mentioned. It won't hurt to ask, though - they made a lot of people happy with their response to the OWE situation, and earned my respect and trust in the process.

I had a very good experience with EMECO for ticketing my AONE5.
All contacts were made by e-mail and all e-mails were answered within 24 hours.
They woudl not take a credit card number over the hpone or e-mail, only in person. I ended-up wiring the money because not having paid would have left me vulnerable to any price hike. The wire wroked fine and the ticket was FedEx'ed to me within five working days.

They took cc details for me over fax ... and they couriered the tickets for me free of charge. But then again, I've been dealing with them for 2 years now and book the bookings on SABRE so that they can see exactly what's going on.

GB, they fedexed me the tickets free of charge as well, and were very friendly taking cc details via facsmile! I did not feel a security risk.
^^^Thanks to them!
