I am not aware of another BA route that has a stop in it and will yield such high TPs. I was looking at this from a oneworld Explorer perspective and how to maximise TPs. I am familiar with some of the longer routes yielding 160 TPs (e.g. DOH-JFK with QR and HKG-JFK with CX), I suspect LHR-SYD may be an anomaly.Originally Posted by pandaperth

Be aware that it still counts as the continent of Asia to pass through Singapore (or even if you take a nonstop from Perth to London) as far as I understand.

I assume there are no issues with a Singapore stopover with the SYD-LON flight (returning to Asia for a stopover)? As I understand the oneworld Explorer allows two intercontinental departure and arrivals.

If you stopover in Singapore then your 1-segment SYD-LON becomes two segments (SYD-SIN and SIN-LON), pushing your itinerary to 17 segments, one more than is allowed.
