"Undoing" mileage credit

Hello: I recently took a Fiji Airways flight that should have been credited to AS. It was instead credited to AA. What is the best way to go about fixing this? Do I have to contact AA first and have them "undo" the credit, or do I contact AS? My understanding from reading other FT posts is that FJ takes a pretty passive attitude toward mileage crediting issues and is unlikely to be of help. Thanks in advance for any tips!

How did your AA number get in the reservation?
Need to ask AA to reverse the flight credit. But no guarantee they will do that. Then claim with AS.
Likely you will end up with the AA ff miles.

Thanks for the reply. I had a three-segment ticket on FJ that I asked to be credited to AS. The third segment was a (US) domestic flight operated AA, and when we were in the AA lounge (based on my Qantas Club membership, not based on the FJ ticket), I asked the lounge agent to credit the last segment to AA. It seems she did the opposite, in that only the first two segements have credited to AA and the third has credited nowhere (yet).
