Does anybody know if there is an email address for Oneworld.com that I can send a query to?

Their web site does not show any contact email addresses.

I am trying to book a “round the world” trip "London – Tokyo – Sydney – Los Angeles – London" but keep getting error messages, either:-

1. No flights available for Tokyo to Sydney, despite numerous flights if searching directly on Qantas.
2. For Sydney to Los Angeles the site insists on going via Asia, ignoring the direct flights offered by American and Qantas.

This worked perfectly last year, but I did not travel due to the ongoing Covid situation (especially in Japan).

I am being very flexible with dates, +/- 30 days for November, so no reason for not being able to find flights.

Does anybody have similar problems?

Any help that you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

The online tool has been hopelessly buggy since the day it was rolled out. There's a whole sticky thread on this - xONEx online tool bugs thread - FlyerTalk Forums

As for availability to/from Oz, note that the Oneworld Explorer books into "L" class in economy and "D" class in business, and some airlines (cough, Qantas) can be very stingy in releasing L or D seats into inventory during peak periods, such as the holiday/southern summer season.

Your best bet is to ticket through one of the participating airlines, of which AA is the most experienced via their RTW "desk." If you're in the UK, I'm not sure if BA still has any bespoke staff for RTWs, but it's worth a phone call.

Oneworld itself has no customer-facing services.

What class of travel?
As above *all* flights are booked direct with an airline.
Oneworld is just a marketing organisation with airlines that co-operate with each other or complete fiercely head to head.
The RTW tool has its faults. And needs L D A fare classes to be available.

For Tokyo (HND NRT) - SYD also look for JL flights. And to MEL or BNE.

Flights loads AU<--->USA are high as are prices. Not yet back to pre CV19 capacity, especially with QF.
Too many people only think Australia=SYD when it comes to flights to/from Australia.. More so with USA.
You may need to chose a different route.

With just London – Tokyo – Sydney – Los Angeles – London you have a lot more segments.
Other places in EU to start can have a lower price..

I have given up on the OneWorld system.
I did a search on "Google Flights" and easily made a booking, using Lufthansa as the main operator.

This also worked out at about GPB 2000 cheaper in Business class than OneWorld !!!
It even included the Qantas DIRECT flights for Tokyo to Sydney and Sydney to Los Angeles, that Oneworld refused to offer.
