Different name in passport and on the ticket - Oneworld Explorer

Hi guys,
me and my soon-to-be-wife bought the RTW Oneworld Explorer tickets for our honeymoon: Oslo - Doha - Jakarta -Tokyo -Kuala Lumpur - Sydney - Vancouver -Dallas -Buenos Aires - New York - Liberia - Chicago - San Juan - Madrid - Oslo
The problem is I have put both her married and maiden name on the ticket (since she is going to change her passport in the middle of our trip, and name correction is apparently impossible while using some of the airlines, eg. Japan, American. There is no hyphen between the two names on the ticket. Do you think it is going to be problematic? We will have our marriage certificate etc. with us ofc. I have contacted Finnair (the issuer of the ticket) on this matter, but each of their consultants told us something different - from "it is impossible to fly on such a ticket, you should change your name to fit the one on the ticket" (sic!) to "it's not a problem at all, you don't have to do anything, we will just put some note in the system you contacted us on this".

I would be really grateful for any piece of advice

Reservation systems do not support hyphen in the name field.

Is this the only issue, or does your fiance's passport not have your family name (which appears on the ticket)?

The problem is that in her passport now she only has her maiden name. In the passport that she is going to get during our journey she is only going to have her married name. On the ticket there are both names, with no hyphen in between.

Why change passport in the middle of your journey? Can't she just use her current passport for the entire journey?

By Polish law if one changes their name while getting married, their passport loses its validity after 4 months... Even if my fiance decides now to stick to her maiden name, it is too late - the tickets are already bought...

I dont think there are any easy answers for you then. The usual advice to someone in your situation is to either
1) book tickets in maiden name and travel the entire trip in maiden name, then change passport when honeymoon travel is complete; or
2) change passport before travel and book in married name.
That said, since you have gone a different route by booking in both names, I would be prepared for questions both from airline check in agents and from security and immigration throughout your travel as names dont match. Oftentimes having the marriage license with you will help.

With so many different airlines involved in a rtw ticket it becomes quite difficult to change names on a ticket mid-journey.

Don't have a good solution for you.

If all flights you want still have space (or if you can change to another flight), maybe rebook and re-ticket in your fiance's maiden name. AY might be able to coordinate with some airlines to release space, but not all (e. g., JL will not I believe). You will have to find a very resourceful AY agent. Perhaps you will have to pay refund penalty, or perhaps AY can waive it for you. I would not risk all airlines and all airports involved in this trip to let your fiance travel. Some might let you go, but it only takes one to ruin your trip. Best to change passport name after trip completion, if possible.
