Suggestions for RTW
I need to be in HK towards the end of November & will most likely do another RTW ex CAI in 1st.
The fixed points I need to do are CAI, LHR, HKG, YVR, JFK, LHR, MUC. However I would also like to visit Kauala Lumpur & Tokyo.
Can anyone suggest a schedule that could include these two, please?
Thanks in advance.
Keep the faith...............keep flying

You can get a 3 continent explorer and go Cai-lhr-nrt-hkg-kul-hkg-yvr-jfk-lhr-mun
If you have time you still can use 5 more segments in north america. say yvr-dfw-mia-bgi-sju-jfk you can get lots of miles for this

cai-lhr-hkg-nrt-hkg-kul-jfk-yvr-(other N.A. segments)-lhr-muc-lhr-cai
going lhr-nrt saves u time but u missed CX's F (which IMHO is superior over BA's)
there is a small problem, i think you are only allowed 2 stopover's in Europe, now you have 3 (2 in LHR, 1 in MUC), if one of your LHR "stopover" is less than 24 hour, it is not counted at as a "stopover". otherwise, u might not not be able to incl MUC in this tkt

Today, I checked subclass 'A' availability with www.seatmap.com.
Curiously, almost of BA's CAI-LHR flights do not have subclass A as following.
MON 01DEC03 CAIRO /LONDON 01/0000 01/2359 G*GAL
1 CAI LHR 0835 1205 BA 154 F9 J9 C0 D9 I9 W9 Y9 H9 K9 M9#744*C
Does anyone know the reason ?
BA wants to ban cheap ex-CAI first class OWE ?
Or, simply seatmap.com does not show correct subclasses ?

Can someone point me to where I can find a list of what the codes mean? e.g., AONE5, etc. I did a search here, and downloaded the PDF from the oneworld site, and I'm still not finding them.
Thanks.

The abbreviation is the fare basis that is the short code way of referring to the various ticket types, and is printed on the tickets.
For xONEn
x=A for first, D for business, L for economy - the subclasses that the reservations need to be made in.
ONE = ONeworld Explorer ticket type
n=3/4/5/6 the number of continents to be covered
Similarly:
xGLOBnn for Global Explorer, where nn indicates the maximum number of miles allowed on the routing.
