taxes on RTW

I am booking a ONE4 and as part of it doing some MRs (not to go to a country but to use the segments allowed to rack up SCs on QF FF). My question is if I am flying eg LHR-DXB and then turning around and returning on the same aircraft/next flight DXB-LHR without entering DXB, should I avoid the taxes for DXB (other than airport/landing/use taxes)? Should I highlight this to the agent ticketing the itin?

Unless you have a way to go shopping for rate agents, you're kind of at the mercy of the skills/knowledge of the agent you draw. You might as well mention the turn-around, it can't hurt.

I don't think the UAE or DXB levies any tax on airline pax.

Found this useful site for taxes (either by airline or by country):

http://www.consolidatedtravel.com.au/qf/taxes.asp

Not sure how comprehensive but looks pretty good....
