Visit Australia Question

Regarding the OW Visit Australia pass, is travel on solely Qantas applicable, or do I have to seek out bizarre flights from other carriers to make it work. Also, are fares based on point-to-point (i.e. SYD-CHC then CHC-ZQN) or origination/destination (SYD-ZQN). Thanks, the OW website is painfully unclear.

Per my phone discussion earlier today with the RTW desk, the "Visit Asia" pass (maybe its similar enough to compare), its point-to-point, and can only be sold in coach class.
