Weird class availability

And no the heading does not refer to a new QF class they are introducing .....

I am on a DONE4 and wanted to change my LHR-MEL sector(s) from QF to BA. Looked up Galileo and it said BA17 had D0 - so I figured they wouldn't allow me to do that.

But I could see that BA15 LHR-SIN had D avail and BA17 SIN-MEL had D avail - so I would go for that.

Called up QF to change reservation and they say there are seats available for BA17 all the way through LHR-MEL. Ofcourse I took it.

But not sure why Galileo showing D0 for it but when I call up they say D is available?

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Galileo/Apollo is not real time availability for many airlines. The viewing functionality that you probably have does not permit you to go into the airline's direct link. That's the best explanation that I have.
