Now you've got me thinking that I may add in IPC on a OWE5. LAN Chile quotes some cop out in the OW fare rules stating that travel within Chile is in Y, even if travel is booked in A or D class. SCL-IPC shows up as having a D cabin, so would this be booked as such? If so, Easter Island is, perhaps, not considered part of Chile? [in ticketing terms, anyway; just as BA considers Egypt to be part of Europe] :-)
Turning to other LA domestic routes... If ticketed in A or D, what's the cost for adding on additional sectors [over and above the 4 included]? Do you take a hit for additional A or D sectors or the Y equivalent... as that's clearly where you'll be sitting...

I had an A ticket.
Booked in Business Class.
On the way back we where able to get the First seats (with Business service - you need to ask for these seats), on the way there we had Business Seats. Booked in D both ways.
It seems that the F seats are allocated to status customers and also customers with F tickets at the airport (cannot prereserve) to whomever asks first.

Here is a report I did last year about my trip to Easter Island on a AONE5 ticket.

Has anyone actually been relegated to Y on the SCL-IPC flights when traveling on a A or D OWE?
