Global Explorer Fare

Can anyone tell me if this route is feasible on Global Explorer (34,000 Miles Ticket)

LHR-ALY-ADD-JIB-NBO-BAH-DEL-SIN-SYD-AKL-PPT-IPC-SCL-UIO-MIA-CUN-LHR

London-Alexandria (British Mediterranean)
Alexandria-Addis Ababa (British Mediterranean)
Addis Ababa-Djibouti (Surface)
Djibouti-Nairobi (Regional Air (BA Franchise))
Nairobi- Delhi (via Bahrain)(Gulf Air)
Delhi-Singapore (Surface)
Singapore-Sydney (Quantas)
Sydney-Auckland (Quantas)
Auckland-Tahiti (Air Tahiti Nui?)
Tahiti-Easter Island (Lan Chile)
Easter Island-Santiago (Lan Chile)
Santiago-Quito (Lan Chile)
Quito-Cancun (via Miami) (Lan Chile/American Airlines)
Cancun-London (British Airways)

I also have a couple of questions with the rules for the Global Explorer Ticket.

1) How is Surface mileage Calculated? Is it between two points or on Global Explorer Network? Eg No one flies Addis Ababa - Djibouti. Would Delhi-Singapore surface be calculated as Delhi-Hong Kong-Singapore (Cathay Pacific)?

2) Does American Airlines (or anyone else other than LanChile) fly from South America - Central America.

3) Is travelling Africa - India (via Bahrain) counted as backtracking through Europe (even though there would be no stop)

4) Would a similar trip be possible on OneWorld Explorer?

Many Thanks

Andrew

My understanding from reading the rules rather than having done this:

Gulf Air is not a member of Oneworld so you can't use them.

Qantas not QUantas!

1) Direct distance between two points.

2) No, but since LANChile is apparently far superior to AA why would you want to?

3) You can't do it - see above.

4) Yes-ish. You can't use Air Tahiti Nui on a OneWorldExplorer so can't get to Tahiti. And Nairobi-Delhi is still tricky: you would need to go NBO-JNB-HKG-DEL

Apologies for the schoolboy spelling error. Mustn't type early in the the morning.

I understood that Gulf air was part of the Global explorer fare but not part of the Oneworld Alliance so this would be ok.

My apologies - I missed that on the fare rules. GF is indeed part of the Global Explorer "club".

But as I read them you do have a problem with the backtrack from Africa to Europe. So you are left with NBO-JNB-HKG-DEL, but I guess you're running out of miles?
