Circle Pacific in J - ex BNE

Greetings to the OW gurus. My eyes are hurting from trying to read the CIRCPAC rules, so I'd be most grateful for some help.

I may have to fly BNE-HNL-BNE, and that is cheaper as a CIRCPAC than return - so why not a milage run?

Here's the plan:

APR 11 BNE-SYD QF505 (can't do 509 - new MCT 1:15)
APR 11 SYD-HNL QF3
...conference...
APR 14 HNL-LAX QF3253 21:25 arr 05:45 +1
APR 15 LAX-SJC QF3241 09:25 arr 10:45
APR 15 SJC-NRT AA129 12:30 arr 15:35 +1
APR 16 NRT-HKG CX505 18:20 arr 22:25
...shower, run, kip, try the pier...
APR 17 HKG-SIN CX2073 03:00 arr 06:40
APR 17 SIN-SYD QF32 09:15 arr 18:30
APR 17 BNE-SYD QF550 20:05 arr 21:30

And then die! Important note - it will be carry-on baggage only.

Don't care about miles, just the 630 tier credits.

Appreciate any input!

(Edited - typo in second paragraph, and to note that I won't be checking in baggage)

A couple of quick comments.

The 03:00 departures aren't a good idea for lounge access. At best only a very small part of The Wing (not including restaurant, cabanas, etc) will be open after about 00:30.

Presumably the last leg is SYD-BNE not BNE-SYD.

I see this is 21355 miles so I assume you are getting the CIR22 fare. Hence, not much room for more distance, but maybe you could somehow squeeze in two or three more segments?

e.g. go NRT-TPE-HKG-BKK-SIN-DPS-SYD (NRT-TPE-HKG-BKK-SIN ticketed as four segments but actually just two flights with stops). Obviously it adds a few hours to the total journey time, but it's still under 22,000 miles.

Thanks christep for your comments - time is not on my side, hence the chosen route - but the NRT-TPE-HKG-BKK-SIN-DPS-SYD is worth looking at further - looks pretty tier friendly too. I'll post the revised itin with your suggestion.

The distance accidentally came out under 22,000 - I was a bit surprised, actually!

Being a pure tier run, I want to knock it over ASAP, so I'll look at the Pier next time.

the last leg is SYD-BNE!

Thanks again.

og - thanks for the heads up on prices too.

FewMiles shows AUD5523 ex SYD in J. QF advised that the fare via Sth America is in excess of AUD9000. AFAIC this makes the fare redundant, and the RTW OW4 Continent fare cheaper (but not by too much). Bummer!

Fortunately there's still cheaper options for the Circle Pacific available - the 22,000 mile option (as mentioned by Willyroo) is showing at $6,499 on Travelshop.com.au - though the South America option (29,000 miles) is indeed well over $9,000. Shame about the price increase, but seems like it might still serve a purpose for some.

Thank you all for your input! I did look at the revised routing (NRT-TPE-HKG-SIN-DPS-SYD instead of NRT-HKG-SIN-SYD), but couldn't make the connections work.

The D fare BNE-HNL-BNE is $5,999, and my agent seems to be able to sell the 22,000 mile CIRPAC in D for just a touch more (published $6,499)

The real difference is 240 tier credits v well over 600, for an extra day or so in a metal tube.
