OWE ticket reissue

I have a reissue problem with BA. I starte my DONE March/02 from CDG. Original itinerary had six segments in NA on AA. I need to change the itinerary. I have already travelled ORD/MSY MSY/ORD. Next up was supposed to be ORD/SJU/AXA AXA/SJU/ORD. The AXA/SJU return was in M class. My new itinerary is as follows: YYZ/MIA/SXM AXA/SJU/MIA/YYZ. The segments are booked in D class except for AXA/SJU which is M class. When I asked to rate department to rate the fare, the following occurred. Since I now have seven segments in NA, I need to purchase one additional segment. The want to use my last segment as the extra one (MIA/YYZ) and charge me USD $400. I'm not clear on two rules as I read them in FEWMILES Oneworld link. Can I not count the AXA/SJU as my extra segment since it is in M class. Also, since the trip was ticked with origin of travel as CDG, do I not pay the extra segment in EUROS rather than USD. The difference is as follows: for M class 100 Euros vs $150. For D class 300 Euros vs $400.
I have been back and forth with the BA rate department for the past week with their insistence on charging me $400 vs my belief of 100 Euros.
Thanks Doug

a couple years ago, CX agent told me a could pick my segment as the 7th. i.e. the M segment.
(i had all A class in NA, and M for BOS-NYC, with a D ticket).

all OW airline can re-issue the ticket for you. call up AA RTW or CX office to make the rebooking, ask them to insert a note that you will re-issue. then go to the office/apt to do the reissuance.
you will have to pay 75$ re-issue fee + ($150 or whatever it states for ex-CDG tkt) for the extra segment.

you have to pay for that segment, but it is for M class, not D class.
(i am not sure if it would be 150$ or 100Euro, but since you ticket was ex-CDG it and was paid in Euro, so should the surcharge)

No. Your last leg is the 7th leg so it'll be MIA-YYZ. If you choose to fly in M class rather than D class, you will be charged the M fare. That is your choice only and not choose the segment you want to pay for.

Additional collections are charged in USD irrespective of where you paid for your ticket.

Thanks GB
I'm booking my OWE for next year. If I have 8 NA segments with some in 6 segments in D class and 2 in M class, can I specify the M class segments as the extra segments or do they count segment 7 and 8 without regards on how the other 6 segments were booked. The rules seem unclear on this point. Thanks again for your time.

You could always just drop the AXA/SJU from your OW altogether, and buy it separately. The one-way fare in Y is $165.
