IB First Lounges (?)
I have a problem. Yesterday I phoned with the Iberia Call Center. I´d liked to have some informations about the Iberia Lounges. Firstly the woman told me, that there is difference between First and Business class lounges. Two sentences later she said that Iberia has only one lounge category, except for Madrid. (??)
So, anybody knows if Iberia has First Class Lounges and where these are located?
I can´t find the information on the webpage
Thanks
Marc

I know they DO have a first lounge in Madrid. It's also the lounge that BA use there. There's a central reception desk, and they direct you to the left for business and to the right for First (or, in my case, BA gold).
Nice-ish lounge with showers, sandwiches, internet access etc. Also quite large and completely empty on the vening I was there last week

Building on AndrewC's reply... The lounge in MAD is called the Velasquez lounge and has both 1st and Business sections. It is quite new (w/in the last 6 months) large and has lots of drink and tapas choices. I've only ever been in the Business side (just AA Plat/OW Sapphire here). It is in T1 but tends to be rather far from the gate that AA uses for its 1 daily MAD-MIA.
They are good about annoucing flights and, unlike ACs in the US still have a good selection of newspapers
