Anyone know of a RTW-capable TA in BKK?

I am actively seeking a travel agent in BKK who can issue a OWE ticket ex-BKK (I will pick up the ticket a day or two before the first leg, hopefully.) I have e-mailed about 5 or 6 agents who's webpages say that they "specialize" in RTW tickets-- but, well, I'd certainly prefer a recommendation if anyone has one.

I've been in contact with Rani Chawla at Chawla Travels. Contact details:

Tel: 662-233-7468
Fax: 662-237-0991
Email: [email protected]

I have not used her for RTWs though her website states that they specialize in RTWs. She's priced some good fares for me for BKK-JFK-BKK.
Could you post or email if you find someone that works out well? Thanks.

Absolutely! I just received an e-mail from another FTer that also recommended Chawla Travel-- so I think I'll give them the first shot-- they do seem to be a major player in BKK travel. They are also located very conveniently right near The Oriental (and the Shangri-La) which is where I like to stay, so if multiple visits (as in a twice in a day, or on two consecutive days, etc) are required for some reason, that's pretty handy.

It appears the fares ex-BKK are almost as low as the really low ones around the world (according to the current info on Fewmiles site) and, it would seem, BKK is cheaper to get to than most of those-- about $1800 o/w in CX J, on CXleverage.

I'd recommend STA travel - they specialize in student travel but have some very good discounted fares in c and f and are a very large, reliable agentcy. They'll drop of your ticket at your hotel.

I've had very good results using Charlie's Connection for Star rtw tickets. They respond very efficiently to email and bring the ticket to my hotel (even on weekends). Ask for Charlie.
