OWE surface segment = 2 stopovers?

OWE surface segment = 2 stopovers?

For instance, would DFW-LAX-(surface)-LAS-DFW count as one or two stopovers?

One. And for point of reference, unless you are starting in the US, Canada, Central America, or Mexico, it really doesn't matter. But to answer your question, it's one.

Yeah, the continent of origin is NA, hence two stopovers. Starting from YVR, stopping at LAX.

I wonder, if the last couple of coupons are OPEN, how they enforce the stopover count. I suppose you can't just call up res for the booking - they want you to call the rtw desk, and they pull up your record and nab you.
