Comments on my Global Explorer RTW?

Hello,

I'd appreciate any comment (improvements, errors in my possible routes, other alliances better for this route,...) on my Global explorer 34K miles I am about to book. I don't do it for the miles by the way.
The total miles for this trip is ~32500:

LHR-YUL (BA)
YUL-MIA (AA)
MIA-UIO (AA)
UIO-LIM (LA)
LIM-LAX (LA)
LAX-APW (PH)
APW-TBU (PH)
TBU-AKL (PH)
AKL-SYD (QF)
SYD-SGN (QF)
Overland to BKK
BKK-HKG (CX)
HKG-DEL (CX)
DEL-LHR (BA)

Thank you!

I don't think you can do SYD-SGN as it's a codeshare flight. Your best bet might actually be to go SYD-BKK and then do a side trip to SGN.

Would you be doing this is economy ?

Thank you for your reply. You are right SYD-SGN is operated by Vietnam Airlines.

As for the class, my budget is uncertain at the moment but it looks like i'll fly in economy.

Thanks again.

Also, LA don't fly UIO-LIM unless you've taken into account the mileage for a transfer in SCL. I don't think that their Peruvian subsidiary Lan Peru flies to Ecuador yet either.

Thank you 3544quebec,

UIO-LIM will be done overland, I should have mentionned it.

Are you from Quebec? I am from Trois-Rivieres. Anyway happy travels and thanks again,

No, not from Quebec, but Montreal is one of my favourite cities. I just pulled the handle out of the air when I first signed onto Flyertalk and now I'm stuck with it!

If you need any info on Quito or Lima (I've done UIO-LIM overland 5 or 6 times myself), send me an email.
