Don't know what "World Discovery" is, but for the oneworld RTW products, economy fares are booked in M class. Please see the Unofficial oneworld Info Desk for more info.
According to the info I have, you can earn AAdv miles for AA, BA, AY, IB (30%), LA, and QF (70%) in M-class. CX and EI do not give miles for M fares.
Hopefully the oneworld experts can give you more info on all this.

Thanks, FewMiles...living in Scotland has it's drawbacks..my planned (provisional)itinerary included several BA flights - and UK residents don't earn points on M class fares with BA. I'm sure I read something in UK travel press a while ago about earning free flights with OneWorld RTW tkts..I'll call BA to confirm; maybe there's an exception for RTW's to allow M class earning.
