Global explorer ex LHR Ticketed in GVA

Hello,

I was planning to buy a ticket ex-LHR in GVA but I read this rule on Fewmiles' site:

1. (NOT APPLICABLE TO SALES IN THE U.S)WHEN TRAVEL ORIGINATES IN A COUNTRY FOR WHICH THE SPECIFIED LOCAL CURRENCY FARES ARE
PUBLISHED AND THE TICKET IS SOLD IN ANOTHER
COUNTRY, THE FARE WILL BE THAT PUBLISHED FROM
THE COUNTRY OF ORIGIN CONVERTED INTO THE
CURRENCY OF THE COUNTRY OF SALE AT THE BSR.
THE RESULTANT FARE MUST NOT BE LOWER THAN THAT FROM THE COUNTRY OF SALE.
Does this mean I can not pay the lower ex-London price if I buy in Switzerland, and be doomed to spend 7 days in London to buy and get the ticket? Is it the same for OWE RTW?

Thanx & Sorry for the newbie questions

I think you have misread the prices. Fares are much cheaper ex-Switzerland than ex-UK. For example a Biz Class Global Explorer ex-UK is 4499. Ex-Switzerland the price is CHF7899. Converting this to GBP gives approx 3337.
