Are Tblisi and Baku going to be considered as part of Mid-east under the new rules?

interesting idea....
all ex-soviet are either europe or formally asia, when they are "asia", they are not considered as 'middle east' per se.

middle east is officially asia, but was put into europe for unknown reasons which may be geographic proximity or increasing the circle covered by europe or BA's bargaining power in OW (god knows what).
if tbilisi was classified under the europe fare maybe we then have a clue on how thy divide up continent in OW

According to the maps on: http://www.fichters.net/images/map1.jpg && map2.jpg, Baku and Tblisi are in the Europe/Middle-East zone. I also heard on here that the ex-Soviet republics will be included as part of the Mid-East with the new rules? Important to know if the LON-BAK/TBS-LON-MCT-LON routing is still valid.

I finally found a routing with 118k miles, but it uses many duplicate cities. ;-)

So that means for a ONEW3 ticket (Asia, Europe, N. America), I can fly LHR-DXB-LHR as part of the Europe continent? That is pretty good for gaining maximum BA tier points and miles!

I think that you can only fly in/out of any city twice according to the new rules. Can anyone confirm this?

A side benefit of the LHR-DBX-LHR trip if you are travelling on a first class rtw, is that this route is one of the only ones BA operates within Europe utilizing 3-class aircraft... much more comfortable than the European shorthaul business class product.
