In mid-2002, I need to conduct a meeting in London that will attract a few hundred delegates from around the World. Is it possible to negotiate a single meeting discount contract covering all of the One World affiliate airlines?
No. I do this type of meeting all the time, the best way depends on if you want value for money or convienience. I generally opt for one of three options:
1. Get a group discount through BA Group sales.
2. Get a group discount through one of the large European carriers, using their hub and flying onto London with the carrier.
3. Get a group discount through one of the large European carriers, using their hub and charter connecting flights to London (normally Luton).
In reality, if people are coming from all over the world option one is the best - but is really tricky to arrange the first time!
Give yourself a break and don't even try!!
If you want to try BA, I can give you all the contact details.
