OWE ex-Mauritius OR Seychelles
Mauritius, as well as Seychelles are two of the cheaper current origination points for the OWE in Business or First. But when planning 3 continent routings out of these countries (Africa, Europe and Asia), I could not find a way to return to either country.
e.g
SEZ-(LHR)-MCT-LHR-BKK-CMB-HKG-SEZ was not possible because there is no OW flight between HKG and SEZ. Actually I doubt that there is a single OW flight from Asia to SEZ. There is the same problem originating in MRU. As far as I am aware, the only OW flights out of SEZ and MRU are BA flights to London.
So at the end, in routing back from Asia to MRU or SEZ, the only way seems to be via LHR. This would obviously involve backtracking to Europe again, but would it be allowed in this special case? If not, there seems no way that one can originate a OWE in either SEZ or MRU.

That's the reason why you have this exception:
[quote]EXCEPTION 3-- /APPLICABLE TO JOURNEYS ORIGINATING IN AFRICA EXCEPT SOUTH AFRICAAND ZIMBABWE/ TWO INTERCONTINENTAL ARRIVALS AND TWO INTERCONTINENTAL DEPARTURES ARE PERMITTED IN EUROPE. ONE OF THE INTERCONTINENTAL ARRIVALS/ DEPARTURES MUST BE A TRANSFER /WITHOUT STOPOVER/ IN LONDON OR MADRID ENROUTE BETWEEN AFRICA AND ASIA/AUSTRALIA/NORTH AMERICA/SOUTH AMERICA.[quote]
Enjoy.

ex-SEZ in SEZ currency. The SEZ currency has had a mini crash as of late causing the fares to be even lower in USD or AUD terms than they were when first announced back in November.
6C First 37,765
5C First 34,530
6C Biz 34,310
5C Biz 32,155
With these spreads booking anything other than First would be insane.

Responding to an earlier question above, the U.S. and Canada are the only exceptions to the general rule that tickets must be issued in the country of origin to avoid an "upcharge" to the fare applicable in the country of issue.
The only difference, however, applies to taxes.
